Worldwide Comix Scavenger Hunt, Vol. 1

The first issue of Jeffrey Lewis’ Comics has been published for the iPhone/ iPod Touch. It’s available here.  Worldwide Comix Scavenger Hunt Volume 1 is from a self-published series of hand-drawn comics from performer and comics artist Jeffrey Lewis.

Volume 1 starts out in an autobiographical style describing the birth of the idea for this comic. It then jumps into quintessential Jeff Lewis style with the fun and slightly moralistic “The Silver Couch-Surfer.”

“Post-Apocalyptic R&B” explores what record stores will look like after the next world war.

“Frivolous Unanswerable Personal Questions” takes us inside Jeff’s mind as he ruminates about the important stuff of life.

Volume one ends with what can best be described as a silent alien monster adventure movie in comic form.

The comic book is easy to read. Swipe to turn pages right or left and double-tap allows you to zoom in and move around each panel.
