Jacek Piotrowski

 

Jacek Piotrowski was born and raised in Lodz/Poland at a time when communism ruled half of Europe. So instead of reading Comics, he was given Sowjet propaganda picture books to learn from. Maybe that's the reason why he still isn't so keen to draw tanks and military uniforms. These days he is making a living as a graphic designer in Lucerne/Switzerland.

Because he loves diversity Jacek varies styles and explores different techniques in his comic art. But he also uses an appropriate technique to tell a story the best way possible. Inspired by Stanislaw Lem, Edgar Allan Poe, Steampunk, the Monthy Phytons and many more Jacek's themes may range from evil mermaids to lost semi-robot children …
